Unit 6 Integral Assessment
The Universal kindness meditation exercise was great and uplifting to me . I focused for 10 minutes on trying to heal someone or some people who may have been suffering and that they need some help to find a way out of their situations. It was awesome to do and to bring your mind-body-spirit on the focus of others instead of yourself, and I felt great about and I also felt that it worked for someone. The Integral assessment was great it let me know the areas that I need to improve or to continue to strive to make it more of a success for my life. With the psychospiritual, biological, interpersonal and worldly; I only need to improve my biological aspect, because I need to stick to a physical fitness routine to stay active to maintain a normal weight for my body frame and also to be more active on my job as well. So this exercise did help me realize that I need to continue to focus on being active in order to stay healthy.

Hey Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you enjoyed the Loving-kindness exercise and happy to know that you actually saw results. This is a great testimony to all of us. I like how in the Dacher book it demonstrated a bar graph in order to help keep us focus and track of our progress. This graph will also help me visualized the area I need help the most. Like you, I have become keenly aware that I need to add some form of exercise into my life. I have totally been dragging my feet on this issue. I wanted to do some Tai Chi but still unable to find the right DVD. So good luck to us both.

Hi Carolyn, we are both focused on the physical aspect, I do not exercise at all and find myself either at the computer or television on most days, so how about we devise a short but sweet exercise plan together, maybe we can start by allowing ourselves five min of exercise daily and move from there. I would be grateful to make this committment with you, let me know when and what.
